Street/subway performers in NYC
Now I know that street performers are usually struggling artists working hard to make an honest buck. But what if the street performer really sucks? Take this guy who plays his guitar and sings on the West 4th street subway station. He's usually there in the evenings on the ramp up from the downtown side of the station. He is an absolutely horrible guitar player and singer and recently, he's added a harmonica to the list of instruments he can't play. The dilemma is - do you reward the guy for at least not being on the streets robbing someone or doing drugs or do you punish him for subjecting your ears to a rare form of torture? So far I've been punishing him.
