Not the perfect dress at all
So why is it that some designers can't seem to cut clothes for women with hips? I found that perfect dress of mine in a window on the upper east side. As my friends and I were strolling along, after a day at the Klimt exhibit at a Dutch gallery, I was so happy and excited to turn in the window of a random store and see the dress- MY dress - in the window. It was as if it was calling me. I followed the call and asked the salesperson to strip that mannequin and give me my dress to try on. After I put it on, the utter dissapointment hit me - Ms. Cynthia Rowley does not design for women with hips. To be honest, I felt a little relieved that I wasn't going to drop $300 on a dress after my recent shopping sprees. But still, I couldn't help but being a bit pissed off that the dress was so obviously cut for skinny girls (and trust me, I'm not fat - I'm normal). So I left the dress with the salesperson to sell to the next anorexic woman that walks into the door.
