So everytime I am looking to buy a new product, I always check the reviews out there. It really helps to hear about other people's thoughts on products. I never find enough reviews so I thought I would start writing my own. So at least I can help people who are looking at similar products.
Review #1 - Search for good eye make-up remover
Wow, this is a toughie. I don't know if I have "special" lashes or something that mascara just does not like coming off. I've tried a lof of different eye make up removers and I think I might have finally found one that works. Neutrogena Oil-free Eye Make-Up remover. It is about $12 at the drug store. It works wonderfully - it absorbs really well in the cotton pad and goes on very easily. It's not oily and doesn't leave a residue. Obviously there is a bit of rubbing involved to get the mascara off, but that is normal for all eye make-up removers. The main point is that it actually got all the make-up off! Fantastic!
Before Neutragena, I tried Clinique's "Take off the day". It was terrible. It cost about $20 for the same size as the Neutragena but I needed to use double the amount to remove the eye make-up. It also left a terribly oily residue that was a pain to get rid off.
I also am not a big fan of Lancome's famous eye make-up remover. It is also too oily for me. I think I will stick with the Neutragena one for now.
